time flies, i'm a a5 mth officer... not really vv experienced, yet cant claim to be a newbie. all this while in 1 gdsmake me feel like part of e gds family... but come to tink of it, i'm not converted n gonna leave in apr. looking at e battalion square gives me a stronger sense of belonging than looking at the tekong parade square.
went for recce at tekong at the start of the week wif saywei (pc3) for next week's bic. tues we went down and found out tt e air n sea movement was frozen. we were at sft's gate at 0930, e next fastcraft timing's at 1530! we gotta go back e following day instead. even bus stops had stopped service. all these because of e asian aerospace. we took a walk down to changi v for our brunch. e security was vv tight along e whole stretch of road. police patrolled on bicycles, gurkas as sentries at a few locations. with lots of foreign visitors around, this level of security is a need.
when i reach back to camp, i was juz in time for a run. was asked to join my csm & ps(s). we went for a 5km run, around the nearby estate, in mid day. i can really feel myself dehydrating. we continued wif some workouts after e run: 3 sets 0f 30 push-ups, flutter kicks in decreasing numbers (20, 15, 10, 5 counts of four). the flutter kicks wasn't really tough, but the puch-ups made my triceps sore till now. i had problems scratching e back of my head. even buttoning my uniform hurts... ouch~ i look forward for more of such sessions... after my arms recovered.
birthday's coming in 2 weeks time. i did not celebrate my 21st b'day. i slept at home then, too worn out fr training in ocs then. so this yr gonna compensate. gonna haf a bash at one of da clubs. was considering dbl o, cheap drinks n retro on sat nite! so, anyone who knows me sees this can come along, though i'll invite a default crowd (e yishun kakis) in case no one turns up to party wif mi... muahahaha. any one noes of any place wif cheaper drinks n greater music can enter ur comments.
