woohoo!!! it's chinese new year eve! most chinese families should be having their reunion dinner... and i juz had mine. some will be heading down to the 'river angpao', some will go chinatown, some will stay at home to drinks n gamble... me? dragonfly! work lor. i have nothing better to do if i dun work. there's no proj tt needs me to rush during this festive season, there's no relatives for me to entertain at home, and all friends will have activity with their families. working on eve and 1st 3 days of chinese new yr isn't tt bad after all. morning go collect angpao, nite go work earn money, can club while working oso... fun wat. dunno tonight will there be countdown at dragonfly or not. nye was fun... but wun expect much from cnye.
yesterday went to chinatown wif zhe rui. walk ard those stalls and the hot thing this yr is the taiwan muah chee. 100g for $1. i bought 1kg. actualli i bought less than 1kg, but the stall owner go and top up to 1kg... nb. then gimme those not nice ones... cb. we walked some more and discovered there're some selling at 80 cents per 100g! then there's 1 selling 1 plastic bag stuff all u can at $5. felt cheated... but nvm lah... cny mah, muz be happy. the 2 of us kept popping those muah chee into our mouths... till we got sick of them. but i like the pineapple tart and the strawberry flavoured ones. nice~
besides those cny stalls, we oso went over to chinatown point and yue hwa. end of the day we end up in ann siang rd. visited some high end street wear boutique... like: front row (woods & woods), red wolves (evisu), venue (puma)... and there r some more. found some nice chill out places there too. we walked thru ann siang hill park... and found out tt we were vv tired after walking for so long... so home we went.
